Abuja man falls asleep for 2days, loses his car after being Drugged
Two Cameroonian sisters were arrested for allegedly poisoning the drink of a man who took them on a date before stealing his car after falling asleep for two days.
Suspects Yamba Kinloga Lauren Raissa and her sister Ngo Dingom Yolande Viave were accused of poisoning their victim’s alcohol after he got up to use the toilet.
The drink let him fall into a deep sleep for two days. On waking, the victim discovered that his car had been stolen. The suspects took the vehicle to Auchi, Edo State, where they sold it for N1.5 million.
Police spokesman Frank Mba told how the suspects were arrested and said, “Their victim reported that he went to the Millikent Hotel in Apo, Abuja on August 13, 2019, at about 10:50 with a Yamba and her sister Ngo to have a drink.
In the course of their drinking, he went to the toilet, but before his return, the ladies poisoned his drinks, and after he had consumed them, he went to a night of deep sleep.
The sisters took his Lexus ES 350 and drove off. The suspects were arrested on August 18, 2019, in Jos, Plateau State, attempting to flee the country.”
Viva said as he talked about how they did the deed, he said, “We met the man in Abuja after he stopped to drive us free. After the trip, we exchanged contacts with him, and after several phone calls, my sister agreed to go out for a drink with him.
I followed her and while drinking my sister put her drink on, and we took the car.” Only one of the suspects was shown because the older sister who had the operation is currently ill. 📷: TheNation
