Xenophobia: ‘You are fighting wrong war ’ – Wizkid reacts to killings of Nigerians in South Africa
Mainstream Nigerian artist, Wizkid has joined Nigerians to censure the continuous Xenophobic assaults on a few Nigerians and different Africans in South Africa.
Viral recordings on Monday demonstrated widespreadattacks on Nigerians and their organizations in South Africa.
The new flood of assaults saw the executing of Nigerians and consuming of shops and organizations claimed by Africans.
The President of the Nigeria Union South Africa (NUSA), Adetola Olubajo who affirmed the improvement to NAN said on Monday that the assaults started on Sunday morning in Jeppestown zone of Johannesburg when a structure was set burning by an irate horde.
The assaults and killings have since blended responses from good natured Nigerians approaching government to take uncommon measures against the South African government.
Wizkid, responding, communicated pity over the recordings indicating Nigerians been executed.
He asked Africans to treat each other as one, including that, ‘ We are for the most part people before whatever else.’
The ‘Fever’ crooner focused on that South Africans are battling an inappropriate war.
